Toi Cabaret - Company

Music and Lyrics by STEPHEN SONDHEIM, Book by GEORGE FURTH

Helen Grant and Richard Osborne

Also celebrating its 40th anniversary this year is Stephen Sondheim’s Broadway hit, Company. We are staging a concert performance of this ground-breaking musical as our 2010 Cabaret at the Museum Hotel directed by Jonathon Hendry. Set firmly in New York, and often about the humour and pitfalls of living there, Company follows five married, once married, or soon to be married couples and their mutual friend Robert, a 30-something bachelor who has been unable to commit to a long-term relationship even with himself!. Eventually, Bobby learns that while relationships aren't perfect, they are a necessary part of ‘Being Alive’.

Originally Produced and Directed on Broadway by Harold Prince by arrangement with Hal Leonard Australia Pty Ltd Exclusive agent for Music Theatre International (NY).

"I suppose I was expecting something very experimental and a bit hit and miss. Well all I can say is that I was enthralled and really enjoyed the whole production. Well done."
