Experience student life at Toi Whakaari Open Week 2022

Nau mai haere mai, welcome to the Toi Whakaari Open Week - Student Experience for 2022!

We are opening up our campus between Monday 18th and Thursday 21st of July 2022 so you can experience what it's like to be a Toi Whakaari student. You will get to experience, observe and participate in classes across all five of our performing arts departments. There are limited spaces, so make sure to read the information below to register.

Acting: Monday - Thursday

Arts Management: Monday & Tuesday

Design (Stage & Screen): Monday & Thursday

Costume: Monday & Wednesday

Set & Props: Monday & Thursday

You are able to choose up to two days in the programme(s) of your choice and during that time be looked after by our academic staff and students. At lunch, you will be guided on a full campus tour by our amazing students. We will also have an inquiries table in the Plaza every lunch time should you have any questions about the application process.

Please note: Open Week is designed for attendees who are applying (or thinking about applying) to Toi Whakaari for entry in 2023 ONLY (i.e. Yr 13 and older).

We will also be providing Zoom Q&A Sessions for those who can not make it to Open Week. Each zoom session will be 30-40 minutes long and will be a space to speak to our academic staff and get all your questions answered. All you need to do is register your interest and the links and passcodes to these sessions will be sent out to you on Monday 20th of July 2022.

Design & Management: Tuesday 19 July, 12.15pm.

Costume and Set & Props: Thursday 21 July, 12.15pm.

Acting: Friday 22 July, 1pm.
