The BPA programme draws on the commitment of Toi Whakaari to consistently employ processes and structures which can be recognised as uniquely of Aotearoa New Zealand, upholding the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.

The New Zealand Diploma in Dance equips students with a high level of technical, artistic and interpretative skill in dance and provides the opportunity for practical performing experience. Students also study dance history, anatomy, nutrition and gain the skills to become a successful self-employed artist.
Students perform in many productions which showcase the breadth of dance styles they have mastered during their studies.

All classes in this course are streamed into different levels best suited for the student’s growth and learning needs. Our highly trained and experienced tutors work one on one with students to ensure their goals are being met and help with their transition into work from graduating.
